M20 PhD Programme 2027: Call for Applications Opens on 2 November 2026

The Ubbo Emmius Foundation is pleased to announce that application for the M20 PhD Programme opens on the 2nd of November 2026!

The M20 PhD Programme was launched in 2022 to fund PhD research within the University of Groningen’s interdisciplinary Schools for Science and Society. The programme is intended to strengthen UG’s interdisciplinary research agenda by funding projects that would otherwise not be eligible for traditional funding schemes and grants and by creating new PhD positions to support young research talent.
