Donor-Advised Funds

If you are interested in donating to a thematic area currently not covered by the UEF, a Donor-Advised Fund could be a more fitting way to contribute.

Tax benefits

Benefits for a one-time gift depend on your household's taxable income. As a general rule, donations need to be higher than 1% of your household income, or higher than the amount of 60 Euro. The ceiling for tax benefits from a charitable gift has been set at 10% of taxable income.

A recurring gift offers greater benefit to most donors. For an indication of the tax benefits in your situation, please use the online calculator hosted by ANBIgift.

Personal details

Privacy regulations limit payment information to the sender’s name. If you are not a UG alum, we do not possess your contact information. We therefore kindly ask you to provide your email address in the online donation form so we can send you a letter of acknowledgment. Your information will be used exclusively for the purpose of processing your donation.
