The Ubbo Emmius Foundation supports projects for highly ambitious research and education at the University of Groningen. We provide funding to address questions that matter to communities around the world.

With the commitment of foundations and individual donors, we provide grants for novel ways of moving science forward. The UEF allows researchers and students to move beyond the scope of what traditional research grants may offer.
